Information Noise

Noise is the systemic dissonance of information overload. Every stakeholder has 'just one quick thing.' Slack never stops. Critical updates get buried under an avalanche of trivial notifications. Knowledge workers check communication tools an average of 77 times per day — and by mid-morning, decision fatigue has already set in.

Noise compounds because every team creates communication artifacts — status updates, recap emails, shared documents, dashboard alerts — without anyone coordinating the total volume arriving at a single person's desk. The result is not a communication problem; it is a clarity problem. The signal exists, but it cannot be found.
